JD14 Engine

  • JD14 Engine (13.6L).
  • Peak Power IPM provides up to 40 HP 
extra, even as engine RPMs drop, unlocking previously unavailable power.
  • Available with engine brake to help slow down large loads while on the road or in the fields.

Put the Power to the Ground

  • Ballast the tractor up to 50,706 lb (23,000 kg)
  • 1,500 lb stackable front weights can easily be put on or taken off with a forklift
  • Integrated rear wheel weights allow for maximum spacing options.

Electric Variable Transmission (EVT)

  • All 8RX 440/490/540 models come standard 
 with an EVT transmission

Rear Hitch & Drawbar

  • Now available with a 24,000 lb lift capacity you can work with larger and heavier implements.
  • The CAT V drawbar has a vertical load capacity of 19,000 lbs creating 
 exceptional reliability even while pulling large implements.

Rear Implement Connections

The 56V power off-boarding option allows you to effortlessly hook up your John Deere planter to this tractor.
